Enlarging PDF thumbnails

PROBLEM

Increase thumbnail width

ENVIRONMENT

• On-Premise Server + WebMail Installations: Version 6.0 > Current Version
• Webmail Only Installations: Version 6.0 > Current Version

CAUSE

PDF Render is too small

RESOLUTION

Atmail renders PDF attachments inline as a PNG image. By default the thumbnail width is 300 pixels, showing a quick snapshot of the content of the PDF.

Should you wish to expand the width of the inline PDF previews edit

Locate the following in function _createPdfPreview:

And replace with:

Save the file, and reload Atmail. All PDF thumbnails will be scaled to 700 pixels, providing a far larger preview of the PDF content.
